Duette® gable blinds are an extremely popular choice. The honeycomb fabrics provide excellent thermal properties to insulate the home during the winter months and shield glare and heat in the summer months.
Thanks to our years of experience, we can use honeycomb fabrics for much larger blinds, preventing the need for more blinds to cover the area.
The honeycomb construction of the fabric allows all cording to be hidden with the structure, so no visible cables or cords obscure the window.
Thanks to our Pure™ Aspect gable blinds, even large blinds like these can be covered by a single pair of blinds.
The honeycomb construction of the Duette® fabrics act as an insulating layer, which helps prevent heat transmission.
Dim-out SuperCell fabrics are ideal for bedrooms, combining their thermal properties with a room-darkening effect.
Our blind rails come in a choice of 12 standard colours to compliment your conservatory or orangery. They can also be powder-coated to any RAL colour for an additional cost.
Some gable blinds require an interrim rail, which can be coloured to blend in with the colour of the fabric.
Our gable blinds can extend down below the triangular shape, so no need for extra blinds.
Vertical Blinds for Gable Windows are a unique challenge, that require an expert touch for a truely professional look.

I’ve been very pleased with the blinds, right from the initial survey, through to the fitting and use. Being electric, it’s easy to open and close each day, and it’s remarkable that the motors etc. fit so well that you don’t know they are there. A really neat finish!
They make the conservatory usable all year round by keeping out the harsh sun in summer, and making the conservatory much more cosy in winter. I wish I’d had them fitted when I first had the conservatory built as they have transformed the usefulness of the space.
Ryan fitted our electric blinds yesterday (21 of them) and we are delighted with the end result. It was a big job and he started at 7.30 am and worked solidly for 10 hours. He demonstrated that they are very easy to operate. The whole process from enquiry to installation has been a textbook operation in professionalism and customer care.
Well done Specialist Blinds I can thoroughly recommend them.
Our pure™ gable blinds are designed to retract as neatly as possible to give you the best possible view, inside or out. The exact size of a fabric stack will depend on the size of the blind, but the benefit of our exclusive pureaspect system means that on large windows we only use two blinds where others would use more. Less blinds = smaller fabric stack! Even better, it is a discrete solution with no heavy rails, cables or fixed blinds.
The maximum size of an apex blind depends on the exact angles in the window. At Specialist Blinds we are able to make blinds that cover gables up to five metres wide and floor to ceiling, and because every project is custom, we can tailor the design to your specific apex window.
If you have an especially tall apex window we can still design a blinds solution to suit your needs, and arrange mini scaffolding towers if required.
Yes, with our Pure™ Power motorisation, our battery powered gable blinds are available with an optional solar panel attachment which can trickle charge the blind.
