Our experts have years of experience making and fitting electric lantern blinds for customers
Everything you need to know to make the right decision
Our customers choose electric lantern blinds for many reasons, from accessibility for hard to reach windows, to the convenience of scheduling blinds to open and close automatically.
Our consultants can help you to find the right solution, from remote control to battery operated, voice controlled and traditional handsets.
Our Pure â„¢ Power remote control blinds, developed by our own R&D team, offer a slim fit without compromising on functionality.
Choose from a wide range of systems suitable for every blind configuration. Total control over your blinds, no compromise on look.
Our battery operated blinds give you the control you want over light and shade without all the ugly wiring.Â
We offer simple and flexible options specific to your needs, including handheld handset, wall mounted switch or smart control (Alexa or Google).
Smart blinds integrate motorisation and smart technology, allowing users to control them remotely via smartphone or voice command on Alexa or Google.Â
Our custom made blinds also connect to the Somfy® TaHoma Smart Home system so you can control all your motorised blinds with a smartphone or tablet app.
We can also integrate our remote control blinds into your current home automation system. This integration can enhance your smart home experience, providing convenient and centralised management of your window treatments alongside other automated features in your home.

All battery powered blinds are charged with a 12v Charger, using a standard 13 amp 3-pin plug.
Yes, we have mains powered options for all our lantern roof blinds. Please note that this requires a power source near to the lantern itself. In most cases we recommend a standard 13 amp 3-pin socket, however in some situations we can connect the blinds to a fused 13-amp spur.
A solar panel is usually fitted above the blind on the glass of the lantern roof to get as much sun as possible. The solar panel then provides a trickle charge to the blind, which reduces the frequency of having to charge it via the mains lead.

Context: The 4x5m garden room was completed just over 12 months ago and is my living space in our bungalow. However, the roof lantern has caused problems with intense direct sunlight given the room’s south facing aspect.
The electric blind perfectly matches the decor, the quality is superb, the frame and mounting are discreet, and the operation of the blind is simple and smooth. It is the perfect final touch and my living space now feels finished.
Really pleased with the electric blind over my lantern. Excellent company and a big thank you to James for fitting it so efficiently. I highly recommend.
