We had signed up with another company but I had seen Conservatory Blinds [now Specialist Blinds] online and decided to give them a call. I got 17 Duette blinds for less than half the cost quoted by the other company! We cancelled the order and rebooked with this company. The staff are great, friendly and honest. I had wanted the blinds fitted for Christmas but they were up front with us, didn’t make half promises but made it clear that fitting would be January.
The blinds are great, easy to clean, easy to use and look amazing, so much so the company who built the conservatory are using a picture to show clients how their conservatory could look. Even after sales care is great, we had to replace a unit and both the rep and fitter responded to my request for advice the same day.
This is a really good company, so much so I will be ordering blinds from them once we have had the house windows replaced.
Alan visited us to give us a quote for the installation of pleated blinds to our conservatory. He was clearly very experienced and knowledgeable about his job. Without putting any pressure on us at all, he gradually explained which blinds would be suitable, how they would fit and function, and which types of pleated blind would be best for us. He was also very good at helping us decide on colour and quality of materials, and was very honest about financial costs they would incur. It was our first and last quote, as we were confident that he had covered all bases.
The fitter Dan then came to take all the necessary measurements. It was a testament to his skill and experience, that when he returned to fit the blinds, they fitted absolutely perfectly. As a retired science teacher, I have always been a bit of a stickler for accuracy, but can honestly say that Dan’s work was A* 10/10.
Overall, we were very impressed, and would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a top class job!
All of our manual Pure™ conservatory blinds are designed to be easily removable, so you can remove any debris that has built up behind the blind and have easy access to clean the fabric. Most of our pleated conservatory blinds can be fully cleaned with a pH neutral cleaning liquid to keep them looking like new for longer.
Some of our honeycomb conservatory blinds, such as our exclusive SuperCell and Duette® fabrics can only be sponge-cleaned. Motorised conservatory blinds cannot be removed for cleaning.
Yes, we will need to drill into the frame of your conservatory to fit our Pure™ conservatory blinds. The blinds are attached by hidden metal clips, which is what are attached to the frame of the conservatory.
Drill free options such as Perfect Fit are suitable as blinds for conservatory windows, however they lack the neat fitting of our own system. There are no drill-free options available for clip in conservatory roof blinds.
While it is technically possible to use dim-out fabrics in conservatories, we do not always recommend this as heat build-up caused by the dim-out fabric may damage the glass.
We offer many other fabrics that help control heat, light and glare, without the risk of damage. Honeycomb conservatory blinds are a popular choice as they have two layers of fabric. Please contact us to discuss the best options for your conservatory.
The entirety of our range can be manual or motorised. We cater to various systems such as Somfy, Google Home and Amazon Home, as well as Lutron, Crestron, Elan, Apple HomeKit and more. If you need setting up from scratch, we have our very own bespoke motorisation systems. Whatever your setup looks like, we have a way for you.
Yes absolutely! We have our own paint room and powder coating facilities in our factory, so all of our components and blind rails are available in 12 popular colours as standard.

Yes, we have a wide range of thermal conservatory blinds to help with temperature control throughout the year.
When choosing thermal blinds for conservatories it is important to consider the actual fabric used to make your blinds, as well as the colour and fitting methods. Discreet fixings will create a neater fit to help minimise gaps and draughts. Honeycomb fabrics are very good insulators due to the extra layer of fabric, so are often recommended for thermal conservatory roof blinds.

All our blinds follow the latest UK safety regulations, featuring child-safe mechanisms such as breakaway cord connectors, chain tensioners, or completely cordless operation options. Our professional fitters will ensure all safety devices are correctly installed before leaving you with your new conservatory window blinds.
Our conservatory roof blinds can be operated manually using a pole, or automatically from a handset or app on your mobile.
If you choose our individual roof blinds, they will be fitted using small clips hidden in a discreet rail at the top and bottom of each blind.
In some conservatories, a lantern style blind might be possible. In this case, the blind will be fitted with an unobtrusive framework for the blind to move along.
