ROLE OVERVIEW
LET’S BE UPFRONT ABOUT HOW THIS WORKS
This is a commission-based role. We know that can give some people pause — and honestly, that’s understandable given how that phrase has been misused elsewhere.
So here’s the reality:
Commission-only is the standard structure across the specialist blinds and window covering industry (and many other interiors products). It’s not a workaround or a shortcut — it’s simply how this sector works, because it gives experienced consultants the freedom to earn based on their own effort and expertise rather than being capped by a fixed salary.
Our consultants are not cold calling. They are not selling door to door. They are not recruiting others or buying into anything. They are visiting clients who have already expressed a genuine interest in our products, and they are being paid a genuine, transparent commission on every sale they make. And most of them have been working with us for at least a decade.
The earning figures we quote — £65,000 to £100,000+ — are what our consultants actually earn. Not a best-case projection, not a theoretical ceiling. Real income from real work.
HOW THE LEAD PROCESS WORKS
We think it’s worth explaining this clearly, because it’s one of the things that makes this role work so well in practice.
Our marketing team runs ongoing digital campaigns that generate a steady flow of enquiries from interested customers. Those enquiries are picked up by our customer service team, who qualify each lead and make contact with the customer.
From there, the lead is passed to you — and you take it from there. You speak directly with the customer and book the appointment yourself, at a time that works for both of you. That means you’re always in control of your own diary. You decide when you work, how many appointments you take on, and how you structure your week.
You arrive at each appointment prepared: the customer is already interested, the groundwork has been done, and your job is to have a great conversation and find the right solution for them.
THE ROLE
This is a consultative sales position. You’ll visit clients in their homes, or occasionally on project sites, understand their needs, and guide them through our range of premium blinds, fabrics, and smart automation solutions. You’ll handle measurements and quotations, and see each project through with care.
Because you’re self-employed and control your own schedule, this role works particularly well for people who need their work to fit around their life — not the other way around.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We’re open-minded about background. You don’t need experience in blinds or interiors — we’ll train you fully. What matters is that you’re personable, take pride in your work, and genuinely enjoy spending time with clients to get the right result.

You’ll need:
- Strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build rapport
- A consultative, patient approach to client interactions

- A genuine interest in design and interiors
- A full UK driving licence
Some experience in a client-facing or sales role is helpful, though not essential
