LANTERN ROOF BLINDS
Lantern roof blinds are an excellent way to control the temperature in a room. In addition, they also help reduce glare and protect your furniture from UV.
There are two main ways to fit blinds in lantern roofs: directly against the glass using shaped roof blinds, or across the bottom of the lantern using horizontal blinds. Both come with their own advantages, so it comes down to personal preference, and the layout of your roof lantern.
DUETTE® LANTERN BLINDS
We can neatly fit a blind horizontally across the bottom of a lantern roof, so you can easily cover the area with just one or two blinds.
Our neat system allows you to easily control the amount of heat and light coming into the room without having to buy a large amount of blinds to cover each panel of glass. Use either Duette® pleated fabrics – excellent at improving insulation in a room – or a neat horizontal roller blind.
XL LANTERN BLINDS
For larger lantern roofs, we are able to cover the area using our range of XL lantern blinds.
Specifically designed to cover larger areas with a single horizontal blind, our XL lantern blinds are a great way to shade a large area.
ROLLER LANTERN ROOF BLINDS
Our roller lantern roof blinds are a neat way to cover a roof without having visible wires across the gap. Suitable for a wide range of lantern roof sizes, our horizontal roller blinds use a ‘zip’-like system to move across the space without any support wires.
These roller blinds are available with a range of remote control options, including full integration with our smart blind systems.
RETRACT AWAY NEATLY
Our lantern roof blinds retract away neatly, so there isn’t an unsightly stack of fabric when the blinds are retracted – letting you get full use out of your roof lantern.
WIRE-FREE OPTIONS
All of our roller lantern blinds are totally wire-free, and depending on the width of the lantern roof, we are also able to fit Duette® horizontal blinds that do not need any wires going across the gap.
MOTORISATION OPTIONS
Control all of your blinds with a touch of a button. We have several motorisation options for lantern blinds, including mains-powered puresolo™ remote control blinds, and battery powered options.
