Conservatory Blinds Environmentally Friendly - We Highlight How

Keeping Conservatory Blinds Limited Environmentally Friendly

Conservatory blinds and Sustainability
Posted: 24 Oct 2018
We make and install all our own products. Therefore, keeping Conservatory Blinds Limited environmentally friendly is very important. We have a lot of responsibility for making sure everything we do is as environmentally friendly as possible. We make a great deal of effort to ensure that this is the case. Here are just a few of the ways we try to increase our sustainability across everything we do:

No Couriers

We deliver all goods from our factory in Kent to various members of the installation team around the country. This consequently has many benefits including:
  • No need for third-party delivery services
  • Using the most environmentally friendly methods of distribution
  • Avoiding any unnecessary extra packaging

Reusable and Recyclable Packaging

Conservatory Blinds Limited have created custom-made, reusable bags for transporting the blinds. We return any cardboard packaging to our factory so we can use again it. And eventually we recycle any packaging we cannot use anymore! We try to re-use as much packaging as possible for our blinds.

Reduction of Physical Paperwork

In a bid to make Conservatory Blinds environmentally friendly, we have reduced the amount of physical paperwork needed across our entire company, so we waste as little paper as possible. We are continuing to improve and streamline our workflow across the company to make sure we only use actual physical paperwork when it is necessary.

Carbon Neutral Printed Materials to Keep Conservatory Blinds Environmentally Friendly

All of our printed materials – brochures, contracts, installation forms, and other various pieces of paperwork – get printed using a local company that uses Carbon Captured paper. This is scheme with the Woodland Trust, as a result they contribute for every piece of Carbon Captured Paper purchased.  Because of this, it allows them to plant enough trees to counter the amount of carbon used in making the paper, making it carbon neutral.
