HOME AUTOMATION BLINDS
We are able to connect our blinds to a range of home automation options, to give complete control over their operation and to introduce new levels of shading and security.
Somfy motors can be integrated with the majority of home automation systems, such as Lutron® Home Automation, Control4, Crestron Electronics® & Rako Controls®.
Our exclusive puresolo™ remote control is designed for areas like conservatories and orangeries where there are a significant amount of blinds, and can connect to a majority of control systems using our own AV connection module.
SOMFY RTS BLINDS
TRADITIONAL WIRED CONTROL
For a non-wireless connection method the Somfy WT (Wired Technology) has been used for many years to connect blinds to a home automation system.
Connecting via Somfy WT requires a dedicated switching relay and cable for each blind from the home automation unit. Most typical switching relays can support around 4 blinds, so multiple relays will be required for a large amount of blinds.
NEW DIGITAL MOTORS
The latest in motorised home automated blinds, the Sonesse 40 RS485 digital motor allows for a large amount of blinds to be connected to a home automation system without the need for multiple data wires.
Up to 200 blinds can be daisy chained together, and are able to connect directly to your home automation system (via an RS485 Control Unit) using only a single CAT5 cable with RJ45 connector.
EXCLUSIVE PURE™ INTEGRATION
Our own exclusive range of pure™ Remote Control has the ability to connect to almost any home automation system. Designed for conservatories and orangeries with a large amount of blinds, our puresolo™ control box with it’s AV connection module can connect to any system with an RS485 interface (excluding Control4).
